Sitting on the cliff of the Point View in Phi Phi island looking to the beauty of the sunrise, the colors merging, mixing and melting behind the mountain and reflecting silver on the ocean water...
Despite the loud music's sound blasting from a beach club in there, it was magical moments, made you think of how hard you have to work to be on the top of that mountain and enjoy an hour with all these people from all around the world witnessing the sun hiding and blushing shy with red cheeks behind that mountain.
Charlie beach hotel and resort is very central; on one side you can be in middle of the market, on the other you are in very peaceful beach where we usually enjoy our breakfast... Rooms a bit small and shower water is weirdly salty, even there is no telephone in the room if you need any help you have to walk to the reception...
The street market is very busy with travelers, loud music everywhere, sleeping lazy fat cats on the streets, travel agencies open late offering tours or Diving lessons, masseur girls touching and flirting all around the village asking for sex...traditional Tattoo shops are filled with teenagers, many food shops are even open 24hours... Then you go at night to the beach where all the fire parties, with Miami style Beach parties, Ibiza music festivals and a touch from the local traditional fire parties, you can see even brave children mastering how to control and play with fire, combined with music and people dance everywhere on the beach, alcohol, and a puff or Shisha makes the night more special.
We went to bed by midnight but you can still hear the loud music from the beach party going on, however the tiredness makes you sleep like a baby.
In the morning we went as usual to the breakfast then had coffee by the pool with view of the entire beach then we packed and went to cruise heading back to Phuket island, maybe better to check Maya bay tour, 300¥ if with a group or 1500¥ if you are a couple and want private tour, it's where Leonardo do Carpio did "The Beach" movie, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do it this time.
When we arrive Phuket there was already mini bus to take us to Ibis hotel, the hotel location is near the beach but not close to the Bangla Street where you would like always to go to at night... The hotel service is poor even if the look is good, false ads and poor quality breakfast... If I had the power to go back on time and changed my booking to small rent room in one average local rent apartments which costs less than 150¥ I'd do it for sure...
We walked to Bangla street had dinner in one one of the open food courts, where you can eat delicious fresh seafood, have some Thai chicken curry, fresh juice and French banana crepe all fore less than 150¥ for two people.
The Bangla street is a crazy carnival, many bars and clubs, people from all around walking up and down the street, shows, ladyboys with huge costume, people selling stuff or offering weird things, you just better keep walking or go to Starbucks in there sit outside and watch the craziness...
At night we went to great relaxing foot massage for less than 60¥\1 hour for one person, then we went back home shower and pack our belongings and left to the Phuket airport.
