Melt into Vietnam
- 出行天数/15 天
I was born in a small town that near the border of Vietnam,so when I was a kid I have always been curious about this country and wanted to see it with my own eyes. At the end of 2014,I decided to delete Vietnam from my To Do List of 2015,make this dream come true. After reading tons of Tour guides ,I started my own 15 days’ DIY Tour from Southern Vietnam to Northern on 2,Jan,2015.
I fell in love with it When I set my first step on this country.
If you are an art fan, come here!
If you enjoy simple folkways, come here!
If you like french style of mountain city, long coastline, come here!
Let’s melt into it!
Transportation in Vietnam is cheap and convenient. I chose bus and airplane according my schedule . Regarding bus company, THE SINH TOURIST is much more reliable, you can book ticket on their website www.thesinhtourist.vn. Regarding their domestic flight,JETSTAR is cheaper than VIETNAM AIRLINES .

Hu Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Saigon ,as my transitional city,I just visited some landmark tourist spots like Notre Dame Cathedral,Central Post Office and Reunification Palace.
Accommodation: Saigon Sports 1 Hotel , superior Double room , $20 per night . It locats in Pham Ngu Lao Street which is a combination of dining, accommodation and transportation.
Food: Quan An Ngon Resturant . I found this lovely resturant thanks to Mafengwo.com. and it really was worth visiting. Tasty Vietnamness food and snacks.
Mui Ne - The place I learn to ride motorcycle, haha~
Mui Ne used to a small fish village in Vietnam, now it becomes a popular holiday resort .It took about 5 hours from Sigon to Mui Ne by Sinhtourist bus. After check in I rent a motorcycle, actually I never ride motorcycle before,so for safety insurance, the owner come with me that afternoon, taught me and guide me to several sight spots. What a nice guy !
Top Mui Ne Things to Do :
1, White Sand Dunes
3,Red Sand Dunes
4,Mui Ne Beach
5,Surfing, Windsurfing & Kitesurfing
Dalat-The former colonial resort
Dalat is an mountain city , It is full of beautiful French-era buildings and surrounded by farms growing vegetables ,flowers and coffee bean. The air is such fresh so that I can't help myself to take deep breath..again ...and again ...drunk already, leave me alone
Here I highly recommended Hotel PINK HOUSE and its one and only tour called Secret Tour .It is definitely an awesome cuture tour,a great way to see Vietnam.... I would like to tell further information about this tour but considering it's secret,so the only way is that you guys come there and find out by yourself ,hahaha~
Nha Trang-Travel is just like life , not every journey is perfect...
Travel is just like life , not every journey is perfect,Sometimes we inevitably might encounter frustrations.
Google map showed that the distance is only about 400m from bus station to hotel,so I intend to walk to hotel. But when I got off the bus, there was a man with holding my hotel brand,I thought that it was pick-up service. But he asked me to pay VND70,000 after he dropped my off the hotel, you know, the Taxi base fare is only VND10,000 , so of course I won’t pay for blackmail like this . Eventually with hotel intervention,I paid VND20,000 to that guy , hotel upgraded room to me for free.
Da Nang--One of the 50 places of Lifetime
Da Nang is oine of the 50 places of Lifetime, recognised by National Geographic Magazine. Hai Van Pass was the key attraction to me.As matter of time , I rent a motorcycle to Hai Van Pass which is 35km from the hotel I stayed. As a new force of Vietnam motorcycle world, 35km coastline and hilly road was easy to ride. The scenery is some of the most spectacular I have ever encountered, one side is mountain standing in the cloud, the other side is blue ocean. The best scenery is on the highest area, which used to an important military bunker. This whole experience is definitely worthy,it really can’t use any words or pictures to describe.
Hanoi-Capital of Vietnam
Hanoi, capital of Vietnam ,it's more like 80's China.
